Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)

Liposuction
Liposuction, also known as liposculpture, is a surgical technique used to remove fat deposits from specific areas of the body, including the cheeks and neck, arms and breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles.
Liposuction is not a substitute for weight loss, but rather a method to remove localized fat deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise.
If you are considering undergoing liposuction, you will receive basic information about the surgery, when it is indicated, how it is performed, and what results can be expected. However, it is impossible for all of your questions to be answered, as they largely depend on personal factors and the preferences of the plastic surgeon.

Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty is a procedure that involves the removal of excess abdominal skin and fat, as well as the correction of muscle laxity. This situation of excess skin and relaxation of the abdominal wall often occurs in patients who have gained and then lost weight, or in women who have had multiple pregnancies. Abdominoplasty results in a flatter, firmer abdomen and a narrower waist.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, with an incision made above the pubic hairline that extends towards the hips. The skin of the abdomen is released, and if necessary, the abdominal muscles are reinforced with sutures. The excess skin is pulled downward and removed.
After the surgery, the patient will wear a special girdle, reinforced with a bandage, depending on each individual case. The scars around the navel and lower abdomen will improve over time. However, in some cases, it is necessary to perform a scar revision under local anesthesia. More than in any other aesthetic surgery, the phrase applies: “The surgeon makes the suture, and the patient makes the scar.”
As possible, though rare, complications, it is worth mentioning the loss of vitality (Necrosis) of the skin located above the pubis, which may require more prolonged post-operative treatment. Similarly, seromas and/or hematomas may occur, requiring drainage.
Mastopexy
Mastopexy is a surgical procedure to lift and improve the shape of breasts that have sagged over the years and due to circumstances such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, and the force of gravity, which causes the breast to tend to sag. Additionally, as the skin loses its elasticity, the breast loses its shape and sags, a phenomenon known as Breast Ptosis.
When the breast, in addition to sagging, has lost or has little volume, an implant can also be placed. Mastopexy can also reduce the size of the areola if it is too large.
Breast reduction
Breast reduction, or Reduction Mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure to decrease the size of the breasts by removing fat, breast tissue, and skin, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola.
Women with large breasts may experience some problems due to this excess weight, such as back and neck pain, skin irritation under the breast, and respiratory issues.
The purpose of Breast Reduction Surgery is to provide women with smaller breasts that are more proportional to the rest of their body.
Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is a medical term that comes from the Greek word used to define “Breasts similar to those of a woman.” Although it’s not frequently talked about, it is currently quite common. It is estimated that Gynecomastia affects 40-60% of men and can affect one breast or both.
Although certain drugs or medications and some medical conditions may be linked to the over-development of male breast tissue, in the vast majority of cases, there is no known cause.
For men concerned about their appearance, breast reduction can be helpful. The procedure removes fat and glandular tissue from the breasts, and in extreme cases, also removes excess skin, resulting in a flat, firm, and well-contoured chest.
